About Us

Blair

I have loved books my whole life; they were and still are an escape for me during dark times. I have very vivid memories of my granny teaching me how to read Nancy Drew on the floor of her house. Throughout school I had to earn all the AR points possible to beat all the other kids, then my sophomore year a friend's mom got me into romance books. Nora Roberts to be exact. I don’t leave the house without at least one book. You never know when you’ll need to hide out with a good book to avoid other humans.

When I was in 4th grade, my school told my mom they were worried about me because I went to the library during recess instead of playing outside with the other kids. She thought I was friendless or being bullied. Nope! I just preferred books over everything else. Almost thirty years later, not much has changed, except my paperback Baby-Sitters Club books have been replaced with Emily Henry audiobooks. I still prefer books over people, and now I read with coffee in hand and a dog in my lap.
